Invested by Tyson Ventures in ‘19 as a plant-based alternative seafood free from cholesterol and allergens produced with seaweed and soy protein and natural ingredients.
The texture is similar to the existing shrimp, so it can be cooked with the same recipe, and commercial production is scheduled for 2021. Plan to expand to lobster and crab in addition to shrimp in the future.
